Halo: Reach's current PC Insider test extended for at least another week [UPDATE]

The most recent Halo: Reach PC Insider test was supposed to come to an end today after a week-long session, but 343 Industries had other plans in store. Today, the developer shared that the test has been extended by at least another week, with it now slated to end on November 12, though there is a chance of even more days being added later on.

The developer is prepping a new update for the current build to address some of the reported issues. There isn"t a date attached to this patch yet, but when it is available, Insiders can use this link to check out the changelog.

The contents of the build haven"t changed, offering the Noble Actual and Winter Contingency campaign missions, Firefight co-op as well as regular head to head multiplayer matchmaking for the invited Steam and Windows 10 players as before. Sadly, even with the extension, no new Halo Insiders have been granted access for this session.

Aside from the continuing Insider flights, 343 Industries also recently revealed the suggested minimum requirements for Halo: Reach recently, painting a picture of a well-optimized title that"s nearing release. It was also confirmed that while Reach will not feature cross-play between PC and Xbox One players at launch, cross-progression for missions and stats will be available.

The Insider flight has been extended once again, with the PC test now slated to end on November 18. Insiders should also find a build update waiting for them with fixes and other changes.
