HTC reportedly working on a new mid-range smartphone featuring Edge Sense

Back in May, HTC unveiled its squeezable smartphone, the U11, which outsold its predecessors. It looks like HTC will give people another device to squeeze, but for a lower price this time. A leak has appeared online reporting the specs of a new mid-range device on which HTC may be working on.

According to a leaker LlabTooFeR, who tweeted the specs of the device code-named "Ocean Life", HTC will bring the Edge Sense technology to a lower price point. Reportedly, the handset will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor and will pack a 5.2-inch 1080p full HD display and a 2,600mAh battery. Both cameras (rear and front) of the phone will be 16MP shooters.

In addition to this, the leaker also claims that the device will be running Android 7.1.1 with Sense 9.0 on top of it and will come bundled with USonic headphones. It will be among the first phones to feature Bluetooth 5.0.

There has been no word regarding the release of this device or its price.
