Huawei teases a foldable phone to be announced at MWC 2019

If you haven"t had enough of foldable smartphones just yet, Huawei has good news for you. The Chinese phone maker took to Twitter to tease an announcement for February 24 at Mobile World Congress 2019.

The tweet includes an image of what appears to be a screen folded at an angle and facing outwards, as well as the message "Connecting the Future". Like the Royole Flexpai we"ve seen before, the hinge where the phone folds seems to leave a significant gap when the screen is folded.

Of course, it"s not like there will be any shortage of devices like this in the near future. In addition to an ever-increasing number of patents coming from a variety of different companies, Xiaomi also showed off a tri-folding phone in a promotional video a few days ago.
