Just in case you were wondering, there will be an Xbox FanFest this year

Although we still have a few months until the start of E3, the folks at Microsoft aren"t holding back, as they have already announced their plans to hold their 2017 press briefing on June 11. While a majority of the public will not be able to attend the press event, it appears that there will be another fan event planned for this year.

Head of Xbox Games marketing Aaron Greenberg, alongside Larry Hryb, aka Major Nelson, are now in the process of planning Xbox FanFest for E3 2017. If unfamiliar, the event allows the general public to attend some of the best parts of E3 like the aforementioned Xbox press event, the convention show floor and also gain exclusive freebies.

E3 will take place in Los Angeles at the LA Convention Center and will be held on June 14 through the 16. If you are interested in attending, you can now purchase tickets to the event for $249 each. There will be a total of 15,000 tickets made available to the public.
