iPad 2 Concept is speculation and not directly related to these manufacturers claims

Component manufacturers have been continuing to do what they do best... Or second best after manufacturing components: Leaking possible release timeframes.

Sources inside Quanta and Foxconn have revealed that they will be sharing manufacturing duties for the new devices which include upgraded Macbook Pros and iMac"s during H1 2011.

The sources noted that Apple plans to launch at least four upgraded MacBook Pros as well as an iMac that features a new panel size and a price point for the mainstream market.

Exciting news for Apple fans who have been awaiting an update to their aging hardware. The sources believe that Apple will hit 10m units this year and expect this figure to be exceeded as 2011 approaches. The new Macbook Pro is said to feature small chassis changes and will be shipped with OS X Lion. Interestingly, this is around the same timeframe of the expected Sandy Bridge architecture release, so Apple users may finally have a taste of cutting edge hardware.

The source also confirms that a new iPad rendition is in the works and should be hitting consumer"s hands around the same time.
