Nvidia adds 4K 60FPS streaming for GeForce NOW on PC and Mac

GeForce NOW, Nvidia"s game streaming service, just received upgrades to both its capabilities and compatible games library. 4K streaming is now available as a perk for RTX 3080 members on PC and Mac, a feature that has only been available on the SHIELD TV until now. Higher refresh rates for specific mobile devices and another big injection of supported games are included in this May update too.

Nvidia is leveraging its AI rendering technology DLSS to boost the RTX 3080 tier to this new 4K 60FPS option, which is now available via the GeForce NOW PC and Mac native apps. Other benefits of this tier like RTX, 1440p at 144FPS streaming, and ultra-low latency priority continue to be present as well.

As for the mobile upgrade, GeForce NOW can now deliver streams at 120FPS to 120Hz capable devices like the Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold3, Flip3, and OnePlus 9 Pro. Find the full list of currently supported phone models here.
