OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple announced; coming to UK, U.S. and India this week

Those who"ve already purchased any of the original color variants of the OnePlus 6T might be in for a bit of a disappointment as the Chinese phone maker announced today another model: Thunder Purple. The new color option comes 10 days after the Mirror Black and Midnight Black variants went on sale.

Like the original model, the Thunder Purple variant will also be compatible with Verizon and retain its key features such as the in-screen fingerprint scanner. OnePlus notes that the new color isn"t a solid one: instead, it gradually fades from purple to black shades starting from the bottom to the top of the phone.

The Thunder Purple model is expected to launch in the U.S., UK, and India for the same price points as the original version. It"s worth pointing out, however, that the new color option will be available only with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for $579 or £529. That means a 6GB RAM variant won"t be up for grabs in Thunder Purple. Nonetheless, it will be available for purchase directly from OnePlus" website starting on November 15 at 9 am EST.
