Razer announces Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds

Today, gaming firm Razer announced its very own pair of wireless earphones - the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds. The earpieces utilize a custom ultra-low latency Bluetooth 5.0 to enable battery life of up to 15 hours (if charged with the charging case) while still managing to deliver high-quality audio. They also come equipped with features like auto-pairing and have an IPX4 water resistance rating.

The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds feature a touch interface that allows users to change, play or pause music tracks, manage calls and toggle the smartphone"s voice assistant. They have a Bluetooth range of 10 meters, 13mm drivers and a 20Hz-20kHz frequency response.

Weighing in at about 45g, the earbuds sport a 275mAh battery with 3 hours of battery life in one go, lasting up to 15 hours in total with 4 charges from the carrying case. As for the case itself, it automatically charges the Hammerhead earbuds when stored inside and fully charges in 1.5 hours through a USB-C cable.

Alvin Cheung, Senior Vice President of Razer’s peripherals business unit, commented:

“The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds are the perfect wireless audio solution for mobile users. Users will have rich, immersive lag-free sound for their movies, music and gaming, without wires to get tangled or snagged as they go.”

Razer also released a companion app to enhance the user experience for the Hammerhead earpieces. Users can download software updates, customize settings and set up the auto-pairing feature via the application which is available for both Android and iOS platforms.

As of today, the Hammerhead wireless earbuds are available for purchase, priced at $99.99 in the U.S. and €119.99 (~$133) in other regions. Further technical specifications about the product can be found on Razer"s official website.
