Respawn's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to be unveiled during Star Wars Celebration in April

Respawn Entertainment"s secretive Star Wars game Jedi: Fallen Order is finally being unveiled this year and fans won"t have to wait till E3 to experience it. After a long silent period, EA has announced that the game will be shown off during Star Wars Celebration 2019, which takes place during April 11 through 15, with the unveiling happening on April 13.

Jedi: Fallen Order was originally announced during EA Play 2018, where Respawn CEO Vince Zampella simply revealed the game"s name and said it will take place between Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV - A New Hope, with players taking the role of a Jedi. Not even concept art were shared with fans.

Some more details arrived out of the official Star Wars website regarding the game as well, with a blog post saying "gamers will meet a Padawan who survived Order 66 and explore the galaxy in the time after the fall of the Jedi Order" in the game.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order seems to be sticking to its original 2019 release window, as the blog post reaffirmed a fall release. If everything goes to plan, this will be the second Respawn-developed game to come out this year, as the EA-owned studio also pushed out its own take on the battle royale genre - Apex Legends - earlier this month.
