Apple today upgraded a few of its products with the M5 chip. The 14-inch MacBook Pro now runs on the M5 chip. The iPad Pro also got the M5 chip upgrade. Then, Apple"s premium VR headset, the Vision Pro, also received the M5 upgrade. All devices not only got a performance boost thanks to the M5 chip but also offer better battery life over their previous processors.
Amidst this, Apple also quietly upgraded one of its popular accessories for the iPad Air. Notably, the Magic Keyboard for iPad Air is now available in the black color in addition to white. Until now, Apple sold the Magic Keyboard only in white, but now there is another option.
It is in line with the Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro, which was also available in white and black. However, the Magic Keyboard for iPad Air doesn"t get the Pro features like the backlit keys, and aluminum case. Instead, it makes use of the same rubber material.
Apple has just added a new color and no new features to the keyboard. The black Magic Keyboard is a good option, as the white variant can accumulate dust and dirt.
The newly launched black Magic Keyboard is compatible with 4th generation iPad Air and above. You can order it from the official Apple website for $269 for the 11-inch iPad Air and for $319 for the 13-inch model.
There is also an easy EMI option that will convert the $269 into $22.41 for 12 months and $319 into $26.58 per month for 12 months. If you finance using the Apple Card, then you will get 3% daily cash back.
