Ubisoft has kicked off a giveaway on PC, and it is offering the 2020-released open-world action game Immortals Fenyx Rising for everyone to claim for free. The promotion is a part of the company"s birthday celebrations for Ubisoft Connect, the cross-platform system for connecting its games. The game"s own five-year birthday is just around the corner too.
"Five years ago, Ubisoft Connect was launched as a unified ecosystem bringing Ubisoft players together across all platforms," says Ubisoft about its Connect platform. "Since then, Ubisoft Connect has become the home for your Ubisoft games, your friends, and your gaming journey. Every month, millions of players around the world log in to play, connect, and share their experiences."
As for the game itself, Immortals Fenyx Rising was developed by Ubisoft Quebec and released back in 2020. The open-world title has you taking the role of Fenyx, a Greek shield-bearer that is attempting to fulfill a prophecy as it"s being narrated by Prometheus to Zeus. The story has players taking on mythological monsters and a large number of puzzles as Fenyx takes on the quest to save the Greek Gods from Typhon.
The gameplay involves third-person action that will feel familiar to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild players. Almost any structure or landscape can be climbed, while mounts and gliding options are also available. A large chunk of the gameplay involves solving puzzles as well, which can involve platforming, combat, and traversal elements.
The Immortals Fenyx Rising giveaway is only available via the Ubisoft Connect platform on PC. The promotion is slated to last until December 3. A PC copy can be claimed by heading to the company"s own store over here or by using this direct link.
