Weekend PC Game Deals: Black Friday Edition

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals are amassed into an easy to follow format, every week, from all over the internet. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

Black Friday is now past us, but that doesn"t mean the sales are over for PC gamers - far from it. You will be able to find entire publisher catalogs discounted well into next week. Although the Winter sales should trickle in starting next month, it"s unlikely that discounts will go any deeper, making this a great opportunity to dust off those wishlists.

There are bound to be games that you may be interested in purchasing this holiday season, considering the number of stores participating. Your options range from the all-encompassing big league sales such as Steam"s Autumn Sale, to the Black Friday sales of Origin, Blizzard"s Battle.net, the DRM-free GOG store, as well as the numerous other online storefronts.

However, perhaps due to all the discounted games, not even Humble Bundle has put out a new bundle this week. Steam"s free events have also taken a break this weekend. But fret not, as always, we have compiled a handy list of big deals down below to help you pick out some games as we get closer to the year"s end.

Big Black Friday Deals

Even though Steam has left behind flash deals, other stores like Fanatical and WinGameStore carry on the tradition. Giving their respective Flash Deal pages a quick look could land you some great deals.

Also, be sure to apply the code BLACKFRIDAY10 when purchasing games from the Fanatical store for an additional 10% discount. Moreover, GamersGate is running a special discount code of its own, where applying GGBethesda18 on Bethesda games should reduce prices by an additional 18%.

Some games listed below may be priced slightly lower at other stores, but applying the above codes at their respective stores should give you the lowest possible prices for them.

Black Friday DRM-free Goodness

GOG"s Black Friday Sale isn"t as expansive as other stores", but even still, there are more than 300 DRM-free games to spend your money on. Once again, we have a longer than usual list of highlights from the sale compiled below. In addition, spending over $15 on the store will get you a copy of StarCrawlers at no extra cost.

Do keep in mind that pricing and availability for some deals may vary depending on the region you"re in.

And that is it for our pick of this weekend"s Black Friday-based PC game deals folks, and hopefully, some of you have enough self-control to not break the bank adding new games to your ever-growing backlogs. Of course, there is a gargantuan amount of other Black Friday deals available all over the interwebs if you search hard enough, so keep your eyes open for those as well.
