Weekend PC Game Deals: Last chance for bundled Overwatch, indie free events, and more

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the biggest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

The surprising addition of Overwatch to the Humble Monthly Bundle happened nearly a month ago, and that means the promotion is almost at an end. By Friday next week, the October bundle will come to an end, revealing its full contents and delivering them to all subscribers.

To sweeten the deal, Humble has also added two more games to the early unlock pile, offering Hidden Folks and Dungeons III in addition to Overwatch for $12. Subscribers get access to the over 60 DRM-free games available in the Humble Trove as well.

Moreover, the Humble One Day Special Bundle still has a few days left on it, featuring games like Telltale"s Guardians of the Galaxy, Surgeon Simulator, and Alpha Protocol.

Helping to keep moving the bundle train along, Fanatical"s Bundle Blast still has a few worthwhile collections left over, such as the Slayer Bundle, Aspyr"s Pick and Choose Bundle, and more.

Free Events

Ubisoft is really sticking to its recent goal of having a free event every weekend, and the game on the spotlight this time is The Crew 2. Although the open world racing title didn"t receive the best reception at launch, those who are interested in checking it out can do so via Uplay right now.

Steam isn"t having an off day either, putting up several indie games up on the store to try out for free. Up first is Blade Symphony, a multiplayer fighting game that involves a lot of dueling and swords. Next, if you"re more into sports games then the early access game Blood Bowl: Death Zone maybe up your alley. Meanwhile, I"m not a Monster is a unique retro sci-fi strategy title inspired by party games like Werewolf. Also, VR headset owners can try out Conjure Strike, a new zero-g hero shooter. Lastly, battle royale goes underwater in this recently released shark infested title, Last Tide.

Big Deals

You can find our usual assortment of sales down below, but Green Man Gaming store"s new discount code is worth mentioning. Applying PAYDAY23 to almost any PC game on the store will net you a 23% discount. This is especially useful if you"ve had your eye on any new releases or even any pre-orders. And here"s the list of titles that the code won"t work on.

*DRM-free version also included

DRM-free Goodness

Now, with all those out of the way, let"s have a look at what DRM-free games are on offer this weekend. GOG store"s weekly and weekend deals fill up the selection once again.

Do keep in mind that availability and pricing for some deals could vary depending on the region.

And that"s it for our pick of this weekend"s deals folks, and let"s hope some of you have enough self-restraint not to break the bank adding games to your enlarging backlogs. There is, of course, an enormous amount of other deals ready and waiting all over the interwebs if you comb through it hard enough, so try to keep your eyes open for those, and have an excellent weekend.
