Weekend PC Game Deals: Peruse spring offerings and specials to play together

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

The Epic Games Store is concluding its March giveaway lineup with Creature in the Well as the latest freebie, with it taking the place of The Fall from last week.

Creature in the Well comes in as a hack-and-slash dungeon crawler that heavily takes cues from pinball for its fighting and puzzle systems. Released in 2019 and developed by indie developer Flight School Studio, its story involves you taking the role of a robot trying to reawaken an ancient facility.

Kicking off the April giveaways for the Epic Games Store will be the cyberpunk adventure game Tales of the Neon Sea, which will begin being available for free starting on April 1.

Fanatical this week introduced its latest Platinum Collection, a build-your-own-bundle promotion that lets you pick three games for $9.99, five for $15.99, or seven for $19.99.

Currently there are 23 games available to choose from, with some highlights being The Falconeer, Killing Floor 2, The Division, Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, South Park: The Fractured Butt Whole, Call of Cthulhu, Steep, and Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power.

The bundle will be available through April. Note that a majority of the games are Steam keys, though the Ubisoft games are provided as Ubisoft Connect activations.

Also, Humble opened up its Burn Rubber racing bundle this week, which comes with Absolute Drift in its $1 tier, followed by DiRT Rally 2.0, GRIP, and Pacer in the average price tier that is currently around $10. The $12 final tier is where you can pick up Assetto Corsa, five DLC packs for the sim racer, as well as copies of KartKraft, Monster Truck Championship, and NASCAR Heat 5.

Keep in mind that the store"s Stellaris, Daedalic, and Curve Digital collections from previous weeks are still up and running as well.

Free Events

If you"re looking to try out some new games this weekend then there are currently four available. First up is Ubisoft"s recently-released open-world action game Watch Dogs: Legion, which is free-to-play through March 28 on the Ubisoft Connect platform.

The three remaining titles are Steam free weekend events. Firaxis Games" hit 4X strategy game Civilization VI base content as well as the World War Two first-person shooter that touts 100-player battles Hell Let Loose are currently free to play. Moreover, the casual sports game Super Mega Baseball 3 has kicked off a weeklong free event that will run through April 2.
