Xbox Partner Preview returns this week with Stranger Than Heaven, The Expanse, and more

Microsoft has just announced a new games showcase, and it"s only a few days out. The latest one is another Xbox Partner Preview, which returns at least a couple of times a year with looks at third-party games coming to Xbox platforms from major publishers and indie studios.

The first Xbox Partner Preview of 2026 will kick off on Thursday, March 26, at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern / 5pm UK. The show is slated to go live across Microsoft"s Xbox YouTube channel, streaming at 4K 60 FPS. Other channels, like the Twitch Xbox portal, will be streaming at 1080p 60 FPS.

Like previous shows, independent streams will also be held with English Audio Descriptions and American Sign Language.

"The latest instalment will include news on upcoming games from partners including Sega, GSC Game World and Owlcat Games, plus brand-new reveals, world premieres and Xbox Game Pass announcements," said the company.

As for specifics, this Xbox Partner Preview will feature Sega"s Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the makers behind Like a Dragon/Yakuza franchise, who will be showcasing its new game Stranger Than Heaven. This noir-style title was originally known as Project Century. The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is getting another look from Owlcat here too, the acclaimed RPG developer. This highly anticipated action RPG set in James S.A. Corey’s series might get a release date here.

Moreover, GSC Game World"s presence is only being described as giving an update on its hit survival RPG S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. This might be an expansion reveal.

Outside of those, Microsoft should have a surprise or two in store, as it mentions brand-new reveals and world premieres. Like previous shows, there is a high chance that many of the games present will feature Xbox Play Anywhere and have a day-one Xbox Game Pass release.
