T3X4S
What is the best method for automating the installation of a bunch of hotfixes ? As many of you are well aware, when installing Win7 SP1, depending on the age of the installation ISO, you have to install a list of hotfixes in order to get Windows Update to work (and not get into a infinite stall). There are about 10 hotfixes which need to be installed, many of which want to reboot (which can be ignored)* Each one, when executed, prompts for "do you want to apply this hotfix?" - click yes, then its installs. I'd like to automate 8 of the 10 - just roll through, do all 8, then I can reboot and do the May-Sep1 Rollup. I tried slipstreaming them into my ISO, but it didn't work - so want to try another method. (but it may have been my method of implementing the slipstream which was more trouble than it was worth) Here are the ones I am talking about: Thanks. I am just now learning PowerShell, so wondering what else is out there.
