you can just leave them as default which should be 'auto'; you really only need to set them if you want to throttle the connection speed if it's causing slowness to other services/devices on your network.

 

BUT I really don't recommend using Utorrent anymore; it's far too bloated for what it's worth. And the older 2.x builds that used to be recommended have some bad security flaws in them now that are well known.

 

If you want a good torrenting client then I'd recommend qBittorrent or Transmission (I actually run transmission directly on my Open-WRT router lol)

I love being able to run it directly on my router. then I can just use either the Web UI or the Transmission Remote GUI app on my computer and Transmission Remote on my phone to connect to the server :)

I get all my linux iso's via my seedbox in the NL.. just remote tell it what to do via rutorrent web interface.
