A potential milestone

I noticed the "Most Users Online" was back on February 28th, with just over 11,700 people.

I think it would be fun to break that record, I mean, Neowin definitely has enough to even destroy that number. It would take a lot of coordination but nothing an announcement a month in advance/private messages/E-mails couldn't supply.

It would be a good idea to host an event just before the end of this month, and sync everyone being online to help boost post counts as well.

Maybe Oct 1st would be an ideal day to hold this event... It is neowins birthday right? or is it Oct 5th?

Usually the only thing that will get peoples attention is the chance to win something free, or get someone very cheap.

Like when Amazon held the cheap xbox360 at midnight, and everyone crashed the servers trying to save a few bucks lol
