Just don't let everyone bully you with so many requests that you end up diluting the best theme that I have seen in a very long time into something that becomes impractical to use, like 99.9% of the others.

Yeah, just insanely consume the final product. Don't help it get better with suggestions.

Just because you add more, that doesn't always equate to better you know.

Far too many themes have been ruined by overdoing them.

I agree. Even after all of the modifications, I still like the original. However, at the moment I'm using the new compact style.

Also: The Element Sidebar has been made to match the theme - I think it enhances the style.

it was only a suggestion/request - it's not like I'm asking him to make the whole theme pink with 48point fonts and massive taskbar.

I'm still using it though - I'll get used to the lack of blue.... my loss, my problem... no worries mate, keep up the excellent work em3 - I thank you

I apologise for my Ill-concieved, poorly thought out posts above.

The Element config for Samurize was made first. The Windows theme was made to match it. :)

Alright, I've got a small bug to report:

It seems as though the gradients are mismatched on the compact taskbar (could be the same way with the normal taskbar, but I haven't checked). See the picture below...

Great Work with this theme em3, this is by far and away my favorite Luna mod. I just wanted to share with you guys this:

This is using the Shellstyle.dll from the VS Deanach, IMHO it goes alot better with these colors than the default Luna one. :) Anyways, Thanks again for your hard work, it will be on this computer for quite a while!

Nice. Did you replace shell32.dll as well? - How do get the different icons to the Windows default?

And how did you make the Sidebar transparent?

I made an Umicons shell pack for SP2 (unreleased due to permissions ATM), and I edited the png files in em3's Element Samurize config using Fireworks MX.

I have a bit of a problem with this theme

When I select the Default Compact version (green button) & apply the theme the taskbar isn't thin, it's normal.

It works fine for the alternative start button version (blue).

I'm using the latest version. Any ideas on how to get the Default Compact version working properly?

Hi there! Check again. I believe you'll see that the "Alt Start Button(Compact Start Menu)" employs the large taskbar - not thin with a blue start button.

The Default style (with compact start menu) uses the green start button and again thelarge> taskbar.

So, as far as I can tell, the only style with the thin taskbar is in fact the &quotCompact Style>". I hope that helps.:))

The scamble to pull as much from the web as possible is happening, and it's happening before a case like this changes how or what is legal do to with AI in terms of data harvesting. But even then as we've seen with the likes of Google who ignore cookie requests and just accept the fact they'll get fined, it's built into their business price model now. AI is here, its not going away. Their reward if any from the court case would be best suited to trying to incorprate AI or licence their end points as authentic human verified content. The problem is, as we've seen these same news papers are using AI themselves.

    • This Chinese company is reportedly developing a feature Apple and Samsung can only dream of by Hamid Ganji While companies like Apple and Samsung have been relatively conservative with their devices’ battery capacities in recent years, Chinese manufacturers have taken the competition to the next level by introducing significantly larger batteries. However, the latest report from China suggests that a local company may already be developing a smartphone with a whopping 14,000mAh battery. Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station claimed on Weibo that a smartphone maker is developing a device with a 14,000mAh battery. If true, it would be the largest battery ever used in a smartphone and could, in theory, provide up to a week of battery life on a single charge. The leaker did not reveal the name of the company behind the device, but there are some clues. This week, HONOR unveiled the X80 Pro Max in China with an 11,000mAh battery and 90W wired charging support. The company also launched the Honor Win in January, which packs a 10,000mAh battery. HONOR, a former subsidiary of Huawei, has a proven track record of developing smartphones with unusually large batteries. However, other Chinese brands, including Xiaomi, have also launched devices such as the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max with 7,500mAh batteries. Though Chinese users on Weibo also believe the company behind the new battery is HONOR. Interestingly, Digital Chat Station said the device with the 14,000mAh battery weighs around 220 grams, making it lighter than the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max (233 grams) and slightly heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra (214 grams). The iPhone 17 Pro Max currently packs a 5,088mAh battery in eSIM-only versions, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 5,000mAh battery. Neither device is expected to see a dramatic increase in battery capacity in its next-generation successor. So when it comes to battery comparison, Chinese brands are unbeaten. HONOR smartphones are currently available in the EU, but the Chinese brand has no official presence in the United States due to restrictions imposed by the U.S. government.
