I need to remove DirectX 9

Well the program will not install under DirectX 9. So im trying to find a way to go back to and older version. Anyone?

There is a utility to remove DX9. You'll need your XP cd.

Well I have my XP cd but I cant find c:\dxtemp!

:huh: You have to extract the files from the .rar to a folder on your c: drivre that's wrote c:\dxtemp and execute the batch file from there. These files are not on the XP cd, they are the files that you extract !!! :whistle: The XP cd is restoring DX8 files.

I suggest you leave it in C:\dxtemp. Easier to find.

Let me point this out. The batch file doesn't only remove DX9, but in fact it's replacing it with DX8 (wich is built in Windows XP). That's why you need the windows XP cd.
