I'm using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040726 Firefox/0.9.1+, Nightly builds. What Firefox version are you using? I'm sure since the release of 0.9.2 or 0.8, Firefox has gotten faster.

One more thing, you dont conclude one browser is faster just by doing this test. This test does not take into account of the rendering and actual loading of the websites. If one site was not loaded completely, the site wouldn't know.

EDIT: After completing the so called benchmark test, I vote for this thread to be closed. The test is not a valid test for benchmarking browsers. Just going to be one of those Firefox VS IE flame threads.

I have about twice the speed in IE then in Firefox.

My speeds could be influenced by the fact than about 1/3 of the sites on the page for belgium are being hosted in the serverroom behind me but that should influence both browsers

Transfer speeds dont impress me that much really, you hardly notice the difference anyway on a high speed connection, whats a few thousand bps anyway. I still prefer Firefox over IE due to features that make it easier and more fun to use.
