Removing menubar in windows explorer

Hello :) I would like to remove this part of explorer but i read that it comes back in xp if i remove it from browselc.dll... is there a working reg file for SP2?

It shouldn't really matter because the .reg entries in Win XP and XP SP1 are the same for XP SP2, all and all it should work just fine on your part, but incase something does goes wrong I first would open downloaded .reg file with notepad and see what path it points to in the registry and backup/export that path that points to your old .reg entry, just in case. :)

and how to hide the adressbar? if i choose to hide the adressbar the menubar appears again...

i think it's somewhat buggy in the sense that it has problems hiding both.

you might consider reshacking browselc.dll to remove the menubar manually.

Sort of on Topic, someone has installed YourSiteBar on my computer. I have manually removed all reg entries and files on the computer. However when I right click to select what toolbars i want. I still have YourSitebar as an option, this option does nothing, but it annoyes me. Any ideas on how to remove it?

yoursitebar? that sounds like spyware to me.

download spybot and get the latest updates and scan your computer. you might also try ad-aware with the latest updates as well.

tried them all. also reboot the machine but still see file, edit, view etc.
