MrBear5587
Hey. Just received my Xbox 360 Premium + Bundle from Game.co.uk :D I've set it all up (also connected to my Z-5400's via optical cable. Works great.) However, the air that gets blown out of the back of the console is quite warm. Is it going to be okay to be left where I've put it? Thanks. shakey
Really, it should be ok. But its recommened to lay the console flat, that way there is no chance of it rocking, falling, or anythign else of that nature. Olemus
Looks like it will be fine judging by the picture as long as it has a couple of cm at the back as well (cant really see that from the pic) But its recommened to lay the console flat, that way there is no chance of it rocking, falling, or anythign else of that nature. The console is designed to also stand vertically and as long as its not in the way of people walking past it etc.. theres very little chance of it getting knocked over, ive had mine vertical for a long time and had no issues. Stuge
It will be fine there ,but just make sure your TV doesn't produce lot of heat hehe Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/635718-will-my-360-get-too-hot-here/#findComment-589384349 Share on other sites
MMaster23
that's one of the most optimal placements. the 360 only overheats when airflow is poor (enclosed in cabinets etc). MrBear5587
Great to hear! Thanks guys. I'll pull it forward a bit to create a bit more room at the back. PiracyX
Looks good just where it is. You could lay it flat with the space available but i don't think it will matter too much. If you just brought it from GAME then it should be a falcon chipset and honest not much heat does come out from it, even after a few hours of gaming. MrBear5587
Yeah, it was bought from Game.co.uk on the 2nd May. On the back of the console, the manufacture date is: 13/03/2008. TheDisneyMagic
It will be more than fine there, I have mine running within my server and media cabinet that is enclosed and have never had a problem with heat issues. Yea it should be a falcon for sure. Mine is from 09/10/2007 and that is a falcon and is nowhere near as hot as my old 2006 model was.
