DVDs:

Fight Club

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

Pulp Fiction

Blow

Leon: The Professional (Director's Cut)

American Beauty

The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring has to be the best movie of 2001 for the big screen.

and no list is complete without...

Tomb Raider!

Oh wait... I hated that movie. :D

Shawshank Redemption is my no 1 film

Bladerunner still up there with the best

Was stunned by Braveheart when I got to see it recently

Defo enjoyed The Lord of the Rings 1

Still to watch Crouching Tiger...

Harry Potter was a bag o crap imho

The Matrix was my biggest disappointment tho' :ermm:

I hear ya about Saving Private Ryan. I came so close to putting that on my list. The greatest war movie ever after Apocalypse Now.

Glad to see that "Snatch" is on a few people's list. Probably my favorite movie since "Dark City". Bricktop is one of the coolest villians ever, which is probably why i have him as my avatar :D

Microsoft confirmed June 23, 2026, that its Fairwater campus in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, is fully operational — and the engineering behind it makes the facility something fundamentally different from every data center that came before it. Where conventional cloud infrastructure racks up general-purpose servers and parcels out workloads to each one independently, Fairwater links hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA GB200 Blackwell GPUs into a single, coherent cluster using a two-story building design, 800-gigabit-per-second Ethernet fabric, and a proprietary networking protocol co-developed with OpenAI and NVIDIA. The result, according to Microsoft, is the closest thing to a purpose-built AI supercomputer that any company has ever placed in commercial operation. https://www.techtimes.com/articles/319205/20260627/microsoft-opens-fairwater-wisconsin-ai-campus-runs-one-supercomputer-via-800g-ethernet.htm
