2011 Steam Summer Sale

Just bought the mumbo jumbo pack as my mum would like to play some of those games (she likes the luxor, match gems games and the "find them" type games) only to find that 14 out of the 20 games in the pack do not work/load at all. A bit disappointed.

Ah, I was wondering why you started up like 500 games in the course of 2 minutes earlier :p

And which games don't work, and what OS is it on? I haven't had any problems with the games on Win 7 x64.

Wow, really? Contact Valve then and ask for a refund; in cases like this, they usually do refund you.

Steam Summer Camp Sale - Last Last Day! :p

Nothing too special; it's just the publisher packs that are on sale now.

I bought the Valve pack on my main account because I let my brother use my old account that had my Counter-Strike: Source and old (original) Half-Life games on it. Plus, I didn't have Portal 2 on PC, so it's a decent deal.

Kind of bummed you don't get copies of the games you already own (to give to friends), though. Actually, I'm really disappointed about that. I had someone who I would've loved to give Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 to.

you didn't get extra copies? fail valve... i would contact support about that because technically you did pay for another copy.

No, it states before you purchase that you WILL NOT get extra copies (it even bolds and underlines "WILL NOT" ). It's still a good deal since I get Portal 2, all the Counter-Strike games and the original Half-Life games for $50, but I would've really liked to have gifted the Left 4 Dead games to my friend.

I posted the ones that didn't work in the mumbo jumbo thread on the steam forums. I am on Win7 Pro x64

Have filled in a support thing on the support pages, but the strange thing is it took me straight to a page asking me to reply to what I had already filled in, plus I didn't get a mailed version of the query with a reference number, which is what has happened in the two other times I have had an issue with steam games :(

I cannot log into the support section any more either, it says details incorrect, even though I use the same for all :(

I definitely didn't win. No STCC in the list. :(

I have 12 games on my list. Crysis 2 is on my list in spot #2. Assuming they can't give away Crysis 2, The other 10/11 of my top games are on the list, so I still have a chance... A very small chance...

    • Exactly. They won't go 100 because current gen consoles are simply too old for any groundbreaking graphics or gaming experience otherwise. They will go with standard (console) price 70 or go with 80 if they really want to go premium. Of course they will have more expensive options too with some useless cosmetics as always.
    • Doesn’t surprise me at all. God is light & He gave us life so it sounds almost logical that we would therefore emit a certain amount of light.
    • This is what I want. Hey Gemini, how do I remove you from all my google products permanently?
    • I would never install install this build before rtm process. only 3 months to go. never install on your daily devices. just wait 3 months.
