How much would this go for?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I just bought a new laptop and I'm thinking about selling my old one, but I would like to know about how much to sell it for... Thanks

Micron Gobook

Intel Pentium MMX 266 Mhz

160 MB Ram (32 MB onboard, 128 MB SODIMM Upgrade Stick)

6 GB Hard Drive

2 MB Neomagic Video Card

D-Link 10/100MB Lan/56k Modem Combo PC Card (Listed for like $150 on amazon.com)

SVIDEO Out Port (Needs Special cable which I don't have)

Touchpad

24x CDROM DRive

Floppy Drive with ext cable

Two Batterys (One Base Battery which clips onto the base of the laptop whichs supplys around 4-5 hours battery life) and a Bay Battery which goes where the CDROM goes.. (around 1-2 hours)

12.1 inch TFT Screen (great display)

USB Port

IR Port

Laptop has a few minor issues. The clips which hold the base battery old don't stay locked... so you need to use tape to old it or else a alarm goes off.

some paint is missing from the wrist rest... just normal worn down...

Battery Monitor Software doesn't work correctly anymore... BIOS will start beeping when battery gets low plus batterys themself have a LED display on them letting you know if it's low.

It's a great little laptop, rock solid, had a uptime of over 14 days on it one time...

How much would it go for on e-bay or any other site? I'm guessing at least $200

I might be able to throw in a carrying case as well.

Ok, $36.00 and I'll throw in a couple very intresting pictures of my ex-wife :)

Better yet, I'll burn the pictures and throw her in with the deal, seems she doesn't care who she sleeps with. One plus is that she wasn't a bad cook and cleaner... :woot:

No really, Ill host an auction if you'd like for a nominal fee like 5 bucks and even ship it for you free through your carrier of choice!

lol, you guys crack me up.... you could prolly get about $70 for that on ebay.... as a matter a fact... PM me and i'll see if this guy wants it... he usually buys old ones like this.

    • Because of the EU (a good thing) newer android devices been getting 5 years worth of security patches. Except some Motorola which found the loop hole, and offer ZERO updates. In addition, Google for years have been making where it can patch some stuff by updating the core Google Play Store itself.  As echoed earlier,  you take the security risk in to your own hand beyond supported.

    • Yes for me, I installed 'old calculator' (Windows 7 calculator) in its place since it is more useful to me. I think paint is the only one I left installed
