Ok I remember about a year and some months ago I managed to changed my shellstyle.dll and now I can't remember anymore how to do it. I try to replace it with the new ones I get with msstyle themes, just to have windowsXP replace it with the default one......any help.... :D

also I used the ThemePatcher from Neowin and now I keep on getting this error that "A windows file has been replaced insert WindowsXP CD to restore file" or some crap like that.

The shellstyle.dll file should be in the folder of your theme. For instance, suppose you downloaded this theme called Aqua. In your Windows\Resources\Themes folder, you should have another folder called Aqua. This latter folder should contain your msstyles file. Now, inside this Aqua folder, you should have a Shell folder. Inside this Shell folder is another folder called NormalColor. If the Shell & NormalColor folders aren't here, create your own. Now, put the shellstyle.dll inside this NormalColor folder. Apply the theme and you should be done.

In case: The shellstyle.dll file should be in the following folder C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\[Name of your theme]\Shell\NormalColor
