Melfster Posted July 19, 2011 Share Posted July 19, 2011 I noticed I can still charge my Ipod after the desktop computer is in hibernate mode. It only works if the computer "sees" the ipod. If the computer is already in hibernate mode and I plug it in it doesn't work. Is this common? bruNo_ Posted August 25, 2011 Share Posted August 25, 2011 I suppose you're using Windows, right? Well, when computer hibernates it "turns off" all ports and devices, in this case USB ports. Honestly, I never noticed it. Take a look at the settings on Power Options in Control Panel.
