eMachines 633ids Memory Question

I was wondering, I have a eMachines 633ids and right now I have 64mb of PC100 SDRam Dimm memory in it and I was wanting to put PC133 128mb SDRAM Dimm memory in it but currently I bought one awhile ago and i replaced the 64mb with the 128mb one and it read it but when Windows ME came up it said that there was a problem with the registry and came up with 2 .dll errors at least so i took it out and replaced it with the 64mb stick and came up with registry so it asked for it to be restarted so i did and it was working perfectly again.

I am wondering if this takes PC133 or not, I did check with the parts and upgrades section of the eMachines site and it says it will work with the etower 633ids but im not to sure. Oh and the 128 mb stick i have had for awhile, got it off pricewatch I believe.

Any help would be appriciated!

Also it shouldnt make a difference at all 133 can run at 100 easy hmmm maybe your Emachine just didnt like that brand... LOL

lol, im thinking it could of been a bad stick of ram, who knows? and i went to the site already before i started this topic and didnt look through the group much but couldent find nothing
