Is it just me, or has anyone observed the trend that they fool around with random monsters and problems until like the 17th episode or so...

Only after that do they REALLY concentrate on going about the season's main plot.

I'd think it'd be pretty hard to do 22-24 episodes focused on them hunting down one big bad monster for the whole season.

It was interesting to see

Chronos because it's the first time we've seen a god from Greek mythology. All the other gods from previous episodes were mostly Roman as well as Chinese, Norse, and even Egyptian. I guess this means we'll see more gods in future episodes.

Are you for real? I am so sick to death of these bullsh*t breaks we have had with every show this year, it is significantly worse than previous years.

For **** sake this is getting annoying. Some shows aired one episode then had a two week break, aired on episode and so on. The big bang theory did this a lot.

+1.

There have been around 3 month-long breaks I think. What the heck is up with this s***?!

agreed. it is hard to get into a show now-a-days with all the crap breaks.

guess they are trying to make less shows and stretch them over a long period to save money and keep it on air as much as possible.

Seeing as how the number of episodes is around the same number every year for a TV show (under normal circumstances), that guess is way off. Season 7 of Supernatural has the most episodes of any season yet (23). Rather than have a large gap, they've done periodic ones. Not sure why everyone is in such an uproar and apparent surprise when these kind of sporadic gaps have occurred for many shows for years. Annoying? Yeah, but they won't make 40 episodes, so....

I just now started watching this season a little over a week ago and have a lot to catch up on. I think I'm up to episode six, where the previous episode they caught a Leviathan after their failed attempt to kill the two married witches.

well color me told off

I guess the huge breaks made me feel like there were less episodes, and most breaks on other shows aren't after every couple of episodes normally. This is jarring to get in the flow of the show if you watch when they air.

    • I agree, especially if it is cloud sourced, like this one is.. but I wouldn't say no to a local AI assistant similar to the Zettlab one which would be really helpful with my large Photos library, but also to perform tasks like installing Docker apps rather than me having to do it via Docker Compose, but I don't think we're quite there yet. Synology Photos is somewhat AI, you can ask it to search for certain people (if you have tagged them and it will attempt to match similar photos to the person) and if you put a search term in for "cars" for example, it will show you all photos with a car.
    • I doubt that Google will keep the same price... it may go up from that list published.
