Because im posting from work. At my CHU I have no internet. That is why. Plus if i want to bring my laptop to work I cannot connect it to the network. So there is a big difference. And yes I am ALLOWed to be on Neowin posting while at work.

And there are no Wireless internetz for you to connect into or crack with backtrack?

Afghanistan does not have the best infrastructure in the world. Running fiber would be fun in all the land mines. Plus the mountains. woo. The roshan network at best runs slow for person internet. Again it can barely run a youtube video.

Again I do not like games where I need to connect to a network for anything.

I just can't get enough of this game. I have a level 34 monk that does 534.12 damage per second. I'm currently playing through the first act in nightmare and it's not as hard as I expected. My armour is at 1563 but I can get it higher with my mantra of evasion. It increases my armour by 20% with the hard target rune. Anyone else playing a monk or barbarian? If so, what's your level and DPS?

D3 filter mods get you banned

to get banned use this

http://darkd3.com/

So it was alright to use in the beta, but in the full release you'll get banned for it? Where is it said that someone will be banned for using the filter mod? Has a Blizzard GM/employee come out specifically and said it's a bannable offense?

I went through quite a few posts there, and other than (what apparently are random people, and Jay....) some negative responses about how the mod makes the game look horrible now I didn't see any official Blizzard response there? Did I miss it somewhere in the 26 pages? lol

Solo check your pm sent you one.

Also just picked it up the other day level 14 in one sitting on my Demon Hunter and leveling all of my characters to level 20.

So far loving the game but it seems to be missing the feeling of D2 but overall still a great game.

There goes the auction house system. Looting system is now exploitable.

http://www.twitch.tv/thegdstudio is now farming inferno mode.

The AH system was in trouble (and hadn't launched yet) due to some of the other Launch Day issues; of COURSE the unscrupulous are going to take advantage of that.

However, better that it happen now (before the AH system has even gone live) than it happen later (as happened with Bitcoin).

Does anyone have a D3 Guest Pass they could send me (via PM, of course)?

Thanx much - collected and being used.

Fought my way through to the SK himself (further than I got during the open beta/stress test weekend) - and he's proving to be several different kinds of nasty.

I'm fighting as a Barb (not a Wizard, which I used during the open beta/stress test). While the big two-handed lumber axe (and two-handed "****** sword") turn most mobs into mincemeat (especially with the Cleave rune inscribed), you still have to fight the SK like a boxer (stick and move), and even then you need a crapton of potions. Still having fun, though.

Break out da sporks - da Mad King is done. Even on Normal, you gotta collect a crapton of potions from mobs to last long enough to re-kill da King. Wack-wack-wack, back off, kill some Returned, grab a potion or two, repeat ad nauseam until da King is down to a third power (preferably less), then wack-wack-wack (more like chop-chop-chop like a lumberjack) until da King goes TIMBER!

345.10 DPS

1666 armor

34 Barbarian

I noticed some of ya'll were discussing hawkman items he showed us, the reason in the difference is the one item has +damage and the other doesn't. At the lower levels +dmg is better than just about anything else (and may apply all the way to 60). I had a 36.1dps 1h axe, added in a Ruby (red gems) that was +8-16 damage and it jumped to a 50dps weapon. Increased my total dps by nearly 85. +damage is an awesome stat and I would always use a weapon with socket(s) with Rubys in them to increase your output.

    • I bought this game. Played it for an hour, and then got a refund from Steam. Not a fun game at all.

    • Forza Horizon 6 gets another hotfix for one of the game's online modes by Taras Buria Recently, Forza Horizon 6 players discovered an interesting glitch that allowed farming a crazy amount of in-game credits in a few minutes. Playground Games quickly pulled the plug on the exploit by disabling one of the game's online modes, and today, the studio is rolling out another hotfix. In my review, I complained about the game still showering gamers with cars, credits, and wheelspins. As such, earning money in Forza Horizon 6 is not a particularly difficult task. You simply have to play the game, crazy, I know. However, people still found an easier path to becoming a billionaire in Forza Horizon 6. All you had to do was purchase the Hummer EV, install a specific tune, shift in reverse while going at about 15 MPH, hit a wall, and get launched into the stratosphere at the speed of light. While mid-air, launch Eliminator and quickly get eliminated. Boom, the game just awarded you with a few million in-game credits. Initially, Playground Games disabled Eliminator to prevent people from farming credits. Now, following the release of the first balancing update, developers are rolling out a new update that re-enables Eliminator and gives users a free McLaren Sabre as a gesture of goodwill. Here is the changelog: One critical issue remains unpatched, though. There are quite a few reports of the game wiping gamers' saves, and developers are still looking into that. To avoid potential data loss, Playground Games recommends taking one of the steps outlined in a previously published support article.
