It has finally been answered. Which is faster GUI Boot No GUI boot

NVM... the left edge of one is covered up.

My comment stands. I can live without that extra fraction of a second delay in the GUI boot. :)

No their aren't.. Just the left of the right screen has been cropped off a bit.

Indeed! It was my first attempt at split screen. Not perfect but it worked.

I guess the short answer from both testing at home, and these videos is that there is no real difference. Boot times vary wildly anyway depending on what software is installed / removed / updated, performed maintenance, large amounts of data change etc

So, in summary, if your hobby is restarting your Windows 7 machine as many times as possible over the course of a day you might get an extra one in if you turn off the boot logo image.
