For those of you who didn't get the email, try https://connect.microsoft.com/site981/program7299 or if that doesn't work go https://connect.microsoft.com/directory/non-feedback/security/ and then click "Join" after Microsoft Security Essentials Beta

What are the changes from the current version of MSE?

Not really expecting anything breakthrough. Probably just an improved detection engine, performance optimizations, and updated design (metro theme?).

I'm liking this. If there's one thing that my OCD self would really appreciate, is if the background of the interface was a vector instead of a bitmap image that got pixelated when the window was maximized (and is somewhat aliased at the bottom).

Pretty much made a spot on prediction on anticipated version features.

On a side note, I'm really sure how much more "simplified" they can make the UI. The current UI is pretty noob-proof as it is.

    • This is weird. Mythos is more unrestricted compared to Fable. Technically it poses more risk!!
    • This is a great thing, I always have issues with Verizon while inside of certain football stadiums due to the saturation and walls blocking signal so a LOS way to connect would be great. Verizon was supposed to be offering sat data this year but I've not heard a word of it lately. Dude is sending rockets into space in a cheap manner, low waste foot print and has a great product with solar/battery tech. We would be so far behind China right now if not for him and a push to get back into space.
    • illegally? Proof of that? Seems you are posting misinformation or well a pure straight up lie cause there is zero proof of such a thing. But I get it...
