Is there any chance of MW3 being discounted? Or is the game simply too hot to be included in the sale?

It's not a case of the game being "too hot" (Batman Arkham City got discounted yesterday), it's a sad case of Activision's greediness. They will keep their games as expensive as they can until the bitter end. You usually have to wait at least six months to see a noticeable discount, but more than likely a year.

Yeah. I just read the explanation you gave yesterday. Edited my post, but was too slow to it. :p

Also, another year has gone by. What ever the **** happened to HL2: E3/HL3! Man, I hope we get some conclusion next year.

Can you nuke yourself in decfon to get santa?

you can't nuke your cities no, you might be able to get him in transit though you can launch nukes into your own area just not in a city but you will have to be quick about it.

I'm still looking for portal 2, have DotA 2 and 2 coal.

You want Portal 2 for DOTA2? If so I'd like to trade providing it's the full game. I also have a buttload of coupons if your interested in case you want something more than Portal 2 for DOTA2.

It says "Hardware Survey", but it's the full game. All the game drops are full games, unless it's specifically stated as just being a weekend pass.

The only things I am really hoping to get is either Fallout 3 (GOTY), Fallout NV, TES: IV Oblivion (GOTY - Missed the daily deal for it) or TES: V Skyrim :(

Steam has only given me a lump of coal and a -33% and -50% Valve Coupon.

If you get both oblivion and skyrim, make sure to not play Skyrim before Oblivion, as you will never be able to return to Oblivion after playing the magic that is Skyrim.

It was not even ten or fifteen minutes since you posted when I offered. Did the person PM you? I don't see any post where anyone stated they would trade with you.

I always seem to miss out. Even on that Steam gifts website I never seem to win anything no matter how many entries. In fact nothing ever turns in my favor, guess that it's just my family is endowed with ****ty luck. :(

Anyone else have a DOTA2 Hardware Survey (Full game) they are willing to trade for Portal 2, Left4Dead 2, coupons?

Ok, just worked out a trade for my copy of DotA 2. Now I get to play another DotA clone I've never played before to get another achievement lol.

Good luck with that. I had been trying all day to play it, but the game is badly hosted and when I finally got it updated I can't even register. I gave up and deleted it... screw it.

Isn't DoTA just in beta at the moment?

Sorry man, I may not be checking forum post but I see every new e-mail on my phone which is how I saw the PM. And I did post in this thread yesterday about offering DotA 2.

    • A coalition of publishers sued OpenAI and Microsoft over scraping content without consent by Hamid Ganji Image via Depositphotos.com AI companies often rely on readily available internet content to train their chatbots and provide users with instant answers. This method of AI training is fast and relatively inexpensive, but using a website’s content without permission or compensation is not something publishers like to see, and this is exactly why Microsoft and OpenAI are now being sued. As reported by Bloomberg, a group of publishers that collectively own nearly 400 newspapers has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI and Microsoft. The coalition argues that the two companies scraped their content to build AI chatbots like ChatGPT and Copilot without paying any compensation. The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, argues that while AI products have generated billions of dollars in market value using publishers’ work, none of that value has been shared with the publishers. The plaintiffs are seeking statutory damages and injunctive relief for alleged copyright infringement and violations of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. “Defendants systematically and secretly crawled the Publishers’ websites—including content behind paywalls and other access restrictions—and copied the Publishers’ articles, stories, and other original works onto their own servers without authorization,” the complaint states. The publishers also described the AI boom as a “death knell for local journalism” if AI companies that scrape content for free are not held accountable. Former New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin and his law firm, Platkin LLP, are representing the publishers. “Our models empower innovation, are trained on publicly available data, and are grounded in fair use,” OpenAI spokesperson Drew Pusateri told Bloomberg. This is not the first lawsuit involving the unauthorized use of publishers’ content by AI firms, but it is one of the largest coalitions ever formed against the free use of content by AI chatbots. In 2024, OpenAI and Microsoft also faced a similar lawsuit from eight newspapers that claimed AI products were benefiting from their content without permission.
