Yep, it's a worldwide deal. :) For Americans, it'll cost $14.47, and for Europeans, it's ?14.47. I'll post the code on this thread when I see it appear. No need to worry about demand, as there's no usage limit on the code; just that the deal will almost certainly end at midnight, going from the previous and current deals.

Cool. :)

Regarding today's deals, the only game that even mildly catches my fancy is Deadspace 2, but I am going to give it a miss.

Team Fortress 2's achievement isn't unlocking a gift for me. I got it and all, but the Steam store says I don't.

I guess it's a server issue at the moment, since it won't unlock Beat Hazard's for me.

Cool. :)

Never finished 1 so haven't done much with 2, but I heard its much better.

(I could say that I love the beginning of 2, but thats all I've played. Of course any game where you wake up that way is alright in my book.)

OK, got 14 lumps of coal now, and I picked up a 50% off Dungeons of Dredmor voucher. Now that definitely is trolling, as I got the objective in that game a few days ago!

yeah I traded in one batch and regretted it having already heard what you guys got I knew it'd probably be useless o.o

Against my better judgement, I am going to craft 7 more pieces of coal into a prize, even though I've got like a 0.00000000001% chance of getting something useful. Here goes..........

40% off The Witcher 2. :pinch:

hey I wonder if I can download that yet! Haven't been able to since they converted it to the new content delivery system.

...over three months ago...

...anyone wanna back it up from Steam and burn me some dvds? maybe that'd work! (No, I'm not asking for anything illegal here, heh.)

Anyone who wants to trade Portal 1? I just checked my inventory and as it turns out, I got Portal 1 in my inventory.

I want to trade portal 1, what do you want for it? I got not that much :/

I've got 6 coal and a 33% discount on a Valve game that I'd be willing to trade. I've yet to get the trading achievement so I'm open to a coal-for-coal trade if anyone wants to. I'd be particularly interested in coupons for the King Arthur or Supreme Ruler games (both Paradox titles) if anyone is looking to trade for my coal and/or Valve discount.

My Steam username is the same as my forum username. :)

Hmm, I just noticed that Steam has given me giftable copies of the two Serious Sam Classic games for buying the Serious Sam Gold Pack last night (even though I never had any of them before buying it :p ). Nice surprise there. :) Who's up for trading then? Seems you only get the Classic versions from buying the Gold Pack, although at the current sale price, I'm guessing a lot of people have them now. :p I'm open to any offers (except the bad coupons, that is).

man you guys are really tradey this year, i don't remember this happening before!

anyway, Homefront is a good deal for that money, you still have time to get it, i paid full price on launch

random: maybe i need to give EYE more time to reveal itself properly...but so far it really does seem like a very unique game! i love the mood of it and the wacky story.

and we're still talking about coal...i'll give ya guys some lumps if you don't stop talking about that!

The damage so far:

Alice: Madness Returns

Assassin's Creed: Revelations

Bulletstorm

Dirt 3

Orcs Must Die

Rage

Rock of Ages

I think this will be it for me this year, there's no other games I really wanted that can't wait 'til the next sale.

    • Just the price of doing business. The scamble to pull as much from the web as possible is happening, and it's happening before a case like this changes how or what is legal do to with AI in terms of data harvesting. But even then as we've seen with the likes of Google who ignore cookie requests and just accept the fact they'll get fined, it's built into their business price model now. AI is here, its not going away. Their reward if any from the court case would be best suited to trying to incorprate AI or licence their end points as authentic human verified content. The problem is, as we've seen these same news papers are using AI themselves.

    • This Chinese company is reportedly developing a feature Apple and Samsung can only dream of by Hamid Ganji While companies like Apple and Samsung have been relatively conservative with their devices’ battery capacities in recent years, Chinese manufacturers have taken the competition to the next level by introducing significantly larger batteries. However, the latest report from China suggests that a local company may already be developing a smartphone with a whopping 14,000mAh battery. Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station claimed on Weibo that a smartphone maker is developing a device with a 14,000mAh battery. If true, it would be the largest battery ever used in a smartphone and could, in theory, provide up to a week of battery life on a single charge. The leaker did not reveal the name of the company behind the device, but there are some clues. This week, HONOR unveiled the X80 Pro Max in China with an 11,000mAh battery and 90W wired charging support. The company also launched the Honor Win in January, which packs a 10,000mAh battery. HONOR, a former subsidiary of Huawei, has a proven track record of developing smartphones with unusually large batteries. However, other Chinese brands, including Xiaomi, have also launched devices such as the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max with 7,500mAh batteries. Though Chinese users on Weibo also believe the company behind the new battery is HONOR. Interestingly, Digital Chat Station said the device with the 14,000mAh battery weighs around 220 grams, making it lighter than the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max (233 grams) and slightly heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra (214 grams). The iPhone 17 Pro Max currently packs a 5,088mAh battery in eSIM-only versions, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 5,000mAh battery. Neither device is expected to see a dramatic increase in battery capacity in its next-generation successor. So when it comes to battery comparison, Chinese brands are unbeaten. HONOR smartphones are currently available in the EU, but the Chinese brand has no official presence in the United States due to restrictions imposed by the U.S. government.
