My new home office. Three 24inch IPS displays in portrait mode. Absolutely love it :)

Nice setup - but how do you live with those huge bezels? I've been wanting to do a multi-monitor setup but I would need extremely thing bezels. Also, portrait mode is indeed awesome

If I did a lot of work where I needed windows that spanned multiple monitors, the bezels would definitely annoy me. There are times when I use photoshop where it is quite frustrating. However, 99% of the time, I have 3 or more windows open. I use WinSplit Revolution to quickly resize and move any given window to a specific monitor and to either take up one 1 full monitor or half of one. I program in Eclipse most of the time and I typically have it spanning two monitors, but there's a good area to split it up near the bezel.

Nah... those are the original bezel protectors, there is a lot of dust around this place so I just prefer to leave them... behind that screen is also my ps3, wii and a PSU of 450 watts which is in charge of anything that requires energy chargers and the car stereo, plenty enough power with it. Also.. all of the cables also lay behind the screen.

Disclaimer: My desk is actually more cleaner...

Where can I get this beezel protectors. I want to cover 2 monitors and CPU getting dusted.

Seriously?

That's why is just a bit..., I only have to detach the usb hub in order to take the whole laptop, no cable mess (of course network cable and ace adapter too, but that's as far as it goes).

Didn't see this one, but thing is, those bezel protectors came with the TV, from factory, I just didn't remove them because vents were already uncovered.

A bit more organized...

How do you find the R.A.T? I bought it but it does my head in, the cursor is so damn crazy just moves on its own. Picky about surfaces and generally just wasted so much time on it just to get a mouse to work normally. I got the 7.

My RAT 5 works fine, it has problems with dark surfaces, but since I have it on a wooden one there is no problem. I have it connected to an USB 3.0 hub (USPeed 7 ports) and no problem with moving on its own, I however had a LACIE 4 ports usb 3.0 hub, each time that I removed a peripheral the mouse would act on its own, I think it's because the mouse de-synchronizes itself when a conflict occurs on another ports of the hubs, however it recovers more or less after a minute.

Upgraded IPB and also testing the Amped Wireless!!! desktop tool.

and this is the messiest it's been in months.... been soooo busyyyyy

    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.

    • No thanks! WebView trash is unacceptable. I only use software that's native.
