suspicious Process in Task Manager

I have just noticed this strange process named 'backWeb-8876480.exe'. Task Manager says that I executed the process. I tried seeing if it was loading on Start Up, but it does not appear in the list. I have also tried running a scan with AdAware 6 and NAV 2004 with updated definitions. What to do?! :wacko:

if you dont know what the hell it is (and i sure dont). kill it, then search for the exe and see where it lurking.

Ya my girlfriend had it too, and it scared the crap out of me when i saw it but when you search for the actual .exe on your harddrive, it shows up in the logitech folder, used for updates and crap. Wish they would name it a little better so it doesn't ppl all scared.

I got that command right after i installed Kodak applications, Weird name for a process :s

It's not just from logitech, alot of companies use it to update thier software on you're computer. A friend of mine has a compaq that uses backweb to get it's updates.

it sounds like it's a backdoor web trojan by the naming of it :p

yeh, i got a Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard. Is this installed by the iTouch or MousWare software/drivers?

After you install kodak software, such as me installing the kodak easyshare software, you get that, all it does is check for updates, so it says, i never let it run, i don't care for updates on a little program such as itself...eh
