I think the only one I didn't know was No 1. Although it makes sense when you think about it.

Myth 6 is a little off IMHO. They are right in that it isn't exactly blood but supermarkets do tend to keep their red meat slightly wetter and bloodier than it should be. This is to make it look nice and red on the shelf. People do tend to associate very red meat with it being good and fresh. Generally it is not the case and red wet meat will go off quicker and harbour more bacteria. A proper aged steak looks browner but people don't seem to like this.

I pretty much knew about them all except for the fact that Alcohol does not "cook out" of food! Great post!
