Just updated not too long ago with the combo update after reading other issues with the standard update. The update didn't have any problems and everything seems to be god so far here.

The update appears to have gone through ok for me except for one thing. Each time, I bring the iMac out of sleep, WiFi is NOT connected. I didn't have this problem before 10.7.3. I just rebooted the iMac and so I'll see if it happens again.

Thanks! I think it looks kind of silly. Why is the finger angled to the left?

I don?t know ! But I?ve tried to do it with my real hand, and it?s not very ergonomic !

*sigh* It's merely giving you the illusion that the index finger is slightly curved down...

Well, it still happens. My WiFi stays disconnected now (post 10.7.3) after waking from sleep. I have to go to WiFi and click on my network for it to connect. I didn't have this issue before the update. This update was supposed to fix the problem it caused me. Lol. I tried forgetting the network and removing WiFi and re-adding everything and that didn't solve anything. So I'll have to put in a call to AppleCare.

Did you install the combo update? cause that's what i downloaded and now it's fixed.

I installed all the updates that were available in "software update".

use the combo update http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1484 it has been noted that many users are experiencing issues only using the delta upgrades http://osxdaily.com/2012/02/01/fix-mac-os-x-10-7-3-update-problems-cui-errors-stuck-installs-and-crashes/

The download link does not work. Neither does the links provided at osxdaily. I've noticed that a lot. Everytime I click on an Apple support link, its a bad link.

I had to go to apple.com, click on support and click on downloads to get that update.

I'm really beginning to think something is wrong when almost every Apple KB article link I come across comes up as bad.

yeah it's something wrong on their side cause it's been happening a lot lately.

Was kinda hoping for a larger Changelog as I found 10.7.2 to still not compare with 10.6.8. But the System does feel snappier. I imagine a lot has changed behind the scenes that none of us know about.

Will test the new SMB Optimisations this weekend.

As I am speaking, my Finder has crashed and relaunching it doesn?t work well. *sigh*

It?s been like this since at least Snow Leopard, maybe even Leopard, even with a clean install and a different computer. I guess they will never fix that. :/

Edit : Ok, so Right click on Finder and Relaunch never worked. But the Apple Menu > Force Quit and clicking Force Quit 20 times has worked.

Woah, just randomly noticed that the vectorized cursors are finally working properly in 10.7.3. They're showing up in Safari and YouTube videos as they should be, nice and crisp. Minor, I know, but it's nice to see it "only" took three point releases to fix the issue.

EDIT: Pointless post, looks like it already got mentioned. Sorry.

At least they fixed it. With previous Mac OS X version you had to wait until the next major new version came around. That said Microsoft doesn't really fix anything interface related in their service packs.

Well, doing the combo update seemed to have fixed my WiFi issue. I can now let my iMac sleep and it will re-connect automatically on wake-up. I just find it odd that, I never had the WiFi issue before the update and the update comes along to "fix" that issue and for me, instead of just leaving all as it is, it gives me the problem it was meant to fix. Lol weird.

Ya, my dad gets that on his iMac now. He had the ocassional error pre 10.7.3 but seems to get it all the time after sleep now. I did the combo update, but I might rerun it after downloading the "b" version.

    • While I agree with all that, it just proves there's an a** built for every seat.
    • Lol are you mad because I'm not using AI? I'd rather pay people than lose a bunch of potential customers and get humilated because I used AI. A lot of people won't purchase a game if it used AI during development.

    • hahahahah wow hahahah you sure got me there hahahahahah, you know that bad performance is always due to poor optimization by the developers, right???
    • "I know for a fact I'll never own one of these." This is why choice is better than government regulation. Globaly Android has something like 72% of the smartphone market. Granted the vast majority of that is low end phones. Apple can and should charge whatever they want. The market will decide if it is too much.
