Seizure1990
Just wanted to let you guys know I did the test with my mom (early 50s), and apparently, her hearing stops somewhere between 12 and 14 khz. 4CxbqFxVnstmA Veteran Posted February 9, 2012 Veteran Share Posted February 9, 2012 I'm 22 and I could only hear up to 18k. After that, I don't know. I think with another sort of test like this I got a lot higher. Maybe it's my headphones. I have Sennheiser HD202 headphones. The specs say it's got a range of from 18 to 18k. Maybe that's why I don't hear anything higher than 18k, but 18k is very clear in my ears. Shiranui
As someone mentioned, without good-quality headphone, the higher frequency tests are pointless. Shadrack
http://europe.beyerd...headphones.html ^-- this. Without everyone using equipment with good frequency response, it is likely that some of you are reporting lower numbers because of your headphones, not because of your ears. chconline Veteran Posted February 9, 2012 Veteran Share Posted February 9, 2012 I've tested this using my Auzentech X-Fi HomeTheater HD over the headphone channel with my V-MODA Vibe II earphones. 17-19KHz was really easy to get, but for the stuff above that, I'm not sure if it's the recording, so I just turned up the volume and I can clearly hear all of them.
