The underlying FACT that Neowin has conveniently buried is how "Notion Mail" was created from the Skiff.com acquisition. Notion has managed to dismantle Skiff, poorly integrate some of its parts, and otherwise disregard the rest. Ultimately, this entire chapter was predictable and the efforts to avoid it were minimal.

Sounds like Notion is throwing what they can and seeing what sticks.
