Where can I get this CD-R Software?

Question

I always use Nero5, but it will only write at 16x (I have a 32x writer)

I would really like to write at a faster speed and I don't know how to fix this nero problem. :(

I have heard that a program called Alchohol120% (Or something like that) is really good, but I can't seem to find a download link to it.

Could anyone either help me increase the speed of my writing in Nero5, or provide a link to Alchohol etc etc. I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

Boggit :D

Yeah, Nero will adjust speeds according to the speed raiting engrained in the media, so if your media reports to nero that its rated for 16x, then it will only burn at 16x

You could always update your nero to 6, after all.... it is a legit copy right?

remember: alcohol 120% can't burn self-made compilations (data or audio). it's jus ta tool to make 1:1 copies or burn images.

have you tried nero 6? or upgrading your cdrw's firmware first? or tried diff. brands of cdrs?

I went to the Nero website to download Nero 6 but came across 2 problems.

Firstly it seems way too large to download with a dialup connection, and secondly the copy of Nero5 I am using came with my CD-R Drive, so it says I can't use that to upgrade I need a Purchased copy of Nero5.
