Hi peeps! I'm writing a dissertation for my digital media degree about the future of the music industry for independent artists. At the moment, I'm conducting research into peoples' listening/purchasing/downloading habits and I've created a short survey to do this.

Well, the survey is really aimed at non CC music. My dissertation is about music as a profitable industry and how it is changing in regard to independent artists. You could do the survey based on your habits relating to non-creative commons music.
