hope i get in, my laptop wouldn't show my higher end video card in the log and only showed that I have intel graphics.. I will most likely get denied because they won't think my laptop can play it.. boooo

...or they most like to have you on the testing because you have the lower-end spec requirement or short of the requirement...

A lot of Neowin editors are extremely bad at keeping up with current news and also linking to current discussions from articles (that start days before it gets posted on the front page...).

It didn't let me download the installer. It said it will email me so its not a public beta. Just signup is public, the game is still private beta with an nda.

Microsoft confirmed June 23, 2026, that its Fairwater campus in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, is fully operational — and the engineering behind it makes the facility something fundamentally different from every data center that came before it. Where conventional cloud infrastructure racks up general-purpose servers and parcels out workloads to each one independently, Fairwater links hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA GB200 Blackwell GPUs into a single, coherent cluster using a two-story building design, 800-gigabit-per-second Ethernet fabric, and a proprietary networking protocol co-developed with OpenAI and NVIDIA.
