lol, if you have logging turned on, norton will delete that whole log file? :)

perhaps you should submit it to them saying there are too many false alarms..

i think i know why it's freaking out.

when you do format c: you will be asked if you are sure..

doing echo y before that command will send "y" as 1st input character, automaticly answering "yes" to format question.

however on some non-english systems "yes" means "ja" or something like that..and shortcut instead of "y" is "j"

that's why norton is freaking out.

It's not a real virus, nortons heuristics think it's a virus.

Heuristics enables anti virus programs to detect possible virii before a new virus definition is out by looking at the code and seeing if something malicouse can be done with it.

Turn off bloodhound and the warning will go away.

Here's the thread he's talking about.

I know that this is kinda off the topic (I have Norton AntiVirus 2004 professional)but it seems to me that most of the time, Norton can't repair viruses (I was infected by viruses three times, not all the same time) and what happens is that Norton will notify me about the virus then when I reboot, Norton won't start so I have to remove the virus manually and reinstall Norton AntiVirus.

how do i remove? norton dint do it... i cant locate it either...

You can't locate it because Windows Xp automatically hides it and ur are using it. Go to C:\Documents and settings\---you windows username---\local settings\content.IE5\and delete everything except for the .ini file (You have to type content.IE5 to get in that folder. It should work...
