Despite being only 20 years old, I have always kept myself proactive & maintained a professional attitude with all of my clients.

I've been working for the last 2 years, but my previous training has been enough to give me the chance to compete against other developers and stand out of the crowd. Plus, I'm a problem solver; I don't give up until something is solved and working, and that's good.

My work is my passion, and that's a big plus because you can be sure, you won't get nothing but the best.

Quite frankly, just by looking at his "Professional Profile", it tells me plenty!

User's profile.

Yup, 0 posts and joined back in November. I wouldn't exactly say that's inspiring. And although he mentions on his website that he has experience in the area, there is no portfolio or references given.

I'd say you backed the wrong horse on this one.

Think it's time to start doing contracts now before doing any work and forget about "trust" on the internet.

"Contracts" and "work" should always go together for a more stable working relationship. Trust means very little these days. At least, that's the way I see it.

Odd right.

I was looking at Google Analytics.

A visits peak on Monday, how odd, sources, Neowin.

And look what I found.

Anyhow, let me tell you the rest something "swissguy" is missing.

I worked for him during three months, FOR FREE.

I haven't even seen a damn penny out of this job for this company.

I did everything he asked me to do, and more.

I stayed up until 8AM most of the days so I could talk and chat with him, he's from Swisszertland and I'm from Argentina, the time difference is massive.

I worked through day and night, and you pull this out?

Yeah, my CV might not be as fancy as the guy up there says, but heck, I work, and a lot, and I don't really care what they say.

I know I did things right, instead of being such a arse and cursing and leaving bad feedback everywhere..

I have never ever said a bad reference about you, wanna know why? Because I learned not to waste time.

So there you go.

I though everyone should get both sides of the story.

I do have a portfolio, and a good set of GOOD references. Swissguy ain't one, and I don't really expect him to be.

You can either contact me anytime you want :) And you'll see.

the average tech guy is lazy too(so am I and I'm proud of it!), I've let multipel clients wait for days just because of lazing off and don't wanna work :p

So when you don't get a reply just wait until they leave their PS3 or such rofl

Hello all - before you go casting stones and making assumptions about someone's talent or work ethic at least put in a little research. Mauro Casas is a gifted Designer and Developer. He's young yes, but he has the knack for creating awesome work. The look everyone is looking for, minimalist, intuitive UI etc comes naturally to Mauro which may be due to his age (he never had to look at the ugly stuff designers were creating ten years ago:)

If you want examples of his work, let me know, he's good! I don't think there should be shame in walking away from no paid work, if you want talent, you have to pay.

Mauro - let me know if you need references!

    • Yup, broke my comp… again. its times like this when I regret AMD. This just never happens on NV.
    • Huh? You're delusional calling the Steam Deck dead. It is so successful that it has sold out multiple times. Even after the price hike this year it sold out again with 24 hours of being back in stock. The demand is real and has not died down even after four years.
