most of the real levels arent even close to finished, just like outlines of the levels, the e3 levels are all there, but some resources are missing which sucks

the water though looks awesome!

It's probably partially due to this and maybe because Valve was changing some things when the code was taken...

Hey guys. Its kind of confusing reading all about this chaos resulting from this leaked beta. Its nuts watching how inconsistent these screenshots are. Some look like a 2 year old decided to give a go at photoshop and yet some of them with the FPS included or some actual action with weapons in hand and driving the buggy make me wonder what to believe. Dont get me wrong, its pretty cool and all, but Im just confused. Im goona leave it up to more people to clarify for those of us who are unable to download it.

lol, OMG... this is amazing, even for alpha/beta. I am running in 1280x1024 and runs smooth, except for those parts that are not done yet. I can tell you guys what I am seeing is better than all the pics I have seen posted thus far.

give up some screenies. i dont know why valve thinks this leak affects the release time in any way. personally i would think they just freaked out. i mean big deal it leaked (actually it is pretty big to them) but no one can make money off ur source (unless they enjoyed multi million $ lawsuites) and its not complete so people wont not buy half life 2 cause of this beta
