Half Life 2 Beta leaked?

also have beta, port, and patch. but when i overwrite hl2 directory with PORT files, hl2.exe won't run, just goes to black screen then closes. Timan, can ya help me? PM or AIM me, woudl much appreciate it :D

Is the vehicle code fixed when you use it on HL2? Like the same as the buggy? THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!! No more cars that can float on air or go through walls!

Sone interesting file dats on the leaked beta, loads of the files say "Modified on the 19th septermber 2003" also on the 22nd of sept and the 27th,

If someone could clarifie that these dates were either they were compiled on that date or would it be that they were transferd on that date ???

It all started off with email 'problems'. Then Sept 30th comes and goes. The source leak should have no effect on the release date. Thats BS VALVe should just say look hey were making a game we need more time. not oh this leak somehow caused us to fall behind. It would take 2 days max to lock down the valve network.

Sept 30 was never a release date. Dec 1 is the release date. If they hold off on releasing the product, more people will get anxious to get hl2 and before you know it, everyone will have the beta. They will only be screwing themselves over on sales if they do that.

Been playing around with the HL1 port for hl2 engine... it's running very fine :) Has anyone noticed any big differences? I've only noticed the hl2 type water... is there anything else?

with them having the engine now, u gotta know someone will end up re-doing hl1 with all the hl2 textures. that's gonna be cool :)

Kinda wish now that I would have waited on replaying Half Life 1. No point in it for me now. Cool that you can though.
