1 year since having any pop! not even a sip!

Just drink lots of water if your dehydrated, it's many many times better than a cola or what ever.

I find it pretty fascinating & some what odd that people can't stop drinking soft drinks. I guess I know alot of people who might be like that, just never really thought about it.

When I stopped did try regular water but I find it doesn't really quench my thirst (I can go through 3-4L easily and still feel thirsty). Plus the water in my building at work is nasty so i would have to bring bottles. Maybe when we move to our new building next year I'll try water again

Water is a effed up topic in North America... :p

Glassed Silver:mac

good for you.

when i was a kid i use to drink 6-12 cans a day of soda. for Y2K (year 2000) i decided my new years resolution would be to not drink soda for a whole year. well i did it. and i was actually very proud so for 2001 i did the same thing. and every year since :p

only times i DO have some soda is when its a mixed drink.. like jack and coke :)

but mainly just water, juices, milk or beer is what i drink.

... ohh and havent been to the dentist in ~ 5 years

thanks everyone soooo muuuuch! ^_^

yeah my sister's so hooked on it she drinks like 3 2L worth a day she's starting to have the same problems I did so shes weaning off it as well.

They call it pop in Minnesota, but not in Colorado.

I'm in WV on the border of it and OH and they call it a mix of everything, I've heard pop, soda, coke, and sometimes "bubbly"....

Bubbly? That's a new one for me. :)

I gave it up the summer two years ago or so, after I found a sugarless water soluble drink I like, maybe even better. After about half a year I did star drinking cola again on weekends though since my GF also drinks cola. So no we drink one or two bottles on the weekend(1.5l shared). Which I think is the best solution, i ge some good cola on the weekends, and I'm not drinking 1.5 l a day anymore. Quitting altogether makes little sense.

Addicted to pop ?

 I thought this thread was about Alcohol

Seriously? I can see why drinking too much would be bad for someone, but addicted ?

Aspartame is probably the only bad thing in certain diet pops

I've largely quit drinking pop/soda/whatever years ago. Because the 2-litres-of-Coke-a-day habit I used to have was a) very unhealthy and b) I decided it was time to stop the horizontal expansion.

Having lost about 20 kg since last summer I'd say it was a good idea.

I only drink coke when someone has visited my home and the bottle is half empty. (someone needs to finish what they started...)

Other than that, I only drink water, coffee, fruit juice and tea. (in that order)

    • Password Safe 3.72.0 by Razvan Serea Password Safe is a password database utility. Like many other such products, commercial and otherwise, it stores your passwords in an encrypted file, allowing you to remember only one password (the "safe combination"), instead of all the username/password combinations that you use. Once stored, your user names and passwords are just a few clicks away. Using Password Safe you can organize your passwords using your own customizable references—for example, by user ID, category, web site, or location. You can choose to store all your passwords in a single encrypted master password list (an encrypted password database), or use multiple databases to further organize your passwords (work and home, for example). And with its intuitive interface you will be up and running in minutes. PasswordSafe was originally designed by the renowned security technologist Bruce Schneier and released as a free utility application. Password Safe 3.72.0 changelog: Fixed bugs Improved font scale handling - should resolve font size issues on high resolution displays. GH1749 In the Master Password Setup window, "Show Master Password" is no longer truncated on some displays. GH1092, SF1595 Size and position of main window is now correctly restored on scaled displays. SF1630 Keep password expiry date when both password and password expiry are changed; don't clear a non-recurring expiry when the password's changed. SF1628 Custom values can now be copied to the clipboard in read-only mode via Ctrl-C and right-click->Copy Value. New features GH1196 Dark display mode support: Password Safe now supports the system display mode, as well as setting the mode directly via Manage->Options->Display->Display Mode. This change also updates the general "look & feel" of the app to the current Windows theme. Known limitations: The Date picker and keyboard shortcut controls do not switch to dark theme The Customize Toolbar dialog does not switch to dark theme Custom Field support has been added to the more advanced features: Filters XML and Text import and export Comparison, Sync and Merge databases SF938 Custom field values may now be selected by name and copied via a "Copy Custom Field Value..." submenu in the entry context popup menu. SF936 Notes and Custom fields layout now overlap, selectable by tabs, resulting in a more compact and less cluttered layout. • I've got a SoundBlasterX G6 that I use in my streaming setup. Sounds great to me and I've had zero issues with the ancient software package so far in Win11. That G6 has 7.1, Dolby, fully working SPDIF and since it's a USB device it's outside of my rig so I don't have to worry about EMF distortion. Looks like for now this is a pass for me as I think I have better hardware....
