windows 8 classic start menu

and did someone try optionalfeatures.exe disabling 'tablet pc'? maybe this brings back the windows 7 interface?

No it does not as the old Star menu and classic start look code is been removed and Tabet PC features only are enabled when you have a Tablet and those Tablet PC features are featured embeded in the code and not optinal things to enable or disable on a Tablet they are either enabled cause it is a Tablet or disabled cause it has no Tablet features

this was missing in developer preview as well or is it a CP special?

just the CP the DP had more option in that line but have since been thrown out . so you more less out of luck if you want the classic start menu system or so
